Full-time students are able to charge Brown University bookstore purchases to their student account, with a limit of $2,000 per student, per year, for the period June 1- May 31. Charges will be added to your University Account and billed as per standard University policies and procedures. Students with past due account balances of $1,000 or more will not be allowed to charge at the Bookstore.
A tuition insurance plan is available to all students on an optional basis. This is a private insurance program managed by GradGuard that supplements the University’s refund policy. The plan provides a refund for tuition, fees, and room/board charges up to the purchased policy limit if a student is unable to complete a semester due to a covered medical reason.
